Itinerary

Day 1 — Maun to Lazy River (Okavango Delta)

Pick-up in Maun at 14:45 followed by a 1.5-hour drive to Lazy River Camp. Arrive in the late afternoon for camp orientation. Settle into your en-suite Meru tent before enjoying a warm bucket shower. As the sun sets over the hippo-filled lagoon, a two-course dinner is served under the stars.

Day 2 — Mokoro & Game Walk

Wake early for a cooked breakfast at 05:30. Depart at 06:30 for a 1.5-hour game drive to Ditshiping. Enjoy an 08:00 mokoro excursion followed by a guided island game walk. After a shaded picnic lunch, return on a downstream mokoro ride and a 1.5-hour game drive back to Lazy River. Relax with warm showers, a stunning sunset and dinner in the bush dining area.

Day 3 — Lazy River to Moremi Game Reserve

Enjoy a relaxed morning and breakfast between 07:00–08:30. Depart Lazy River at 09:00. After two hours, game viewing begins at the Buffalo Fence. Arrive at South Gate Moremi before midday and continue through the Western floodplains with a picnic lunch in the Black Pools area. Arrive at Xiini late afternoon, where camp is ready for your arrival.

Day 4 — Full Day in Moremi

Head out early for a morning game drive. Return to camp for lunch and rest during the midday heat. The afternoon continues with another game drive and scenic sundowners before returning for dinner around the fire.

Day 5 — Moremi to Khwai River

Start with tea or coffee before a morning game drive with a light packed breakfast. Return late morning for brunch and relaxation. At 16:00, tea and snacks are served before heading out on an afternoon game drive leading into a night drive. Watch for nocturnal species such as civets, genets, servals and owls. Return around 20:30 for dinner.

Day 7 — Dawn Drive & Departure

Enjoy a final dawn game drive, returning at 09:00 to find camp packed down and brunch prepared. Guests flying out depart for Khwai Airstrip around 10:30. Guests returning to Maun travel by safari vehicle, arriving between 16:00–17:00.

Accommodation

Stay in spacious en-suite Meru tents throughout your safari. Each tent includes a private bush toilet, private bucket shower and comfortable beds with full linen. Separate open-air bush dining areas are used at Lazy River, Moremi and Khwai for meals and relaxation.
