This 2-night safari takes you into the Khwai Community Concession, one of Botswana’s most productive wildlife regions. Enjoy excellent predator sightings, beautiful riverine landscapes, morning and afternoon game drives, and an exciting night drive. Stay in comfortable en-suite Meru tents with friendly staff and delicious camp meals.

Itinerary

Day 1 — Maun to Khwai

Pick-up from your accommodation between 08:30–09:00. Depart at 09:15, with game viewing beginning at the Buffalo Fence. Travel through Moremi Game Reserve and arrive at your Khwai campsite shortly before sunset. Settle into camp and enjoy a warm bucket shower and dinner in the bush dining area.

Day 2 — Full Day in Khwai + Night Drive

Start the day early with tea or coffee before heading out on a morning game drive with a light packed breakfast. Return late morning for a cooked brunch and relaxation during the midday heat. At 16:00, enjoy tea and snacks before departing on an afternoon game drive that leads into a night drive. Look for nocturnal wildlife such as civets, genets, servals and owls. Return to camp around 20:30 for dinner.

Day 3 — Dawn Drive & Departure

Begin with an early tea or coffee before heading out on your final dawn game drive. Return to camp at 09:00 to find the crew already breaking down camp. Enjoy a farewell brunch. Guests flying out will be transferred to Khwai Airstrip at around 10:30. Guests returning to Maun will travel by safari vehicle, arriving between 16:00–17:00.

Accommodation

Stay in comfortable en-suite Meru tents, each equipped with a private bush toilet, private shower and real beds with full linen. Meals are served in a separate open-air dining area overlooking the Khwai wilderness.
